Vis is a tiny island in the Adriatic Sea off the coast of Croatia, a two hour ferry ride from Split. It was a military base until 1998 and closed to the outside world. Hence it is unspoilt. There are only two towns, Vis and Komiza, which offer a few shops and several restaurants and not a lot else |
